Launching our web site with a Presidential Visit from our Past Pupil, Rosena Jordan!
Rosena is welcomed here by students taking part in the National Children's Choir.

Our school was thrilled to be honoured with a visit from our esteemed past pupil and Castlebar native, Ms Rosena Jordan on Monday, February 13th in her capacity as the current President of INTO. She enrolled here in 1966 and was very excited and emotional to see her name appear in the clárleabhar. She was welcomed by our grúpa ceoil and entertained by our 4th and 5th classes who are partaking in the National Children’s Choir this year.
She spoke to the girls about her time in St Angela’s, her favourite memories of school and explained how the school had changed and developed since she was a pupil here. The children were regaled with stories from her childhood, her life in St Angela's and also her teaching career and were delighted with the question and answer session at the end!
Rosena is a real role model for our ladies demonstrating how girls with dreams become women with vision. A strong advocate of children and positive wide-ranging educational experiences, she has a long and illustrious career as a class teacher and INTO representative.
Launching our new school web site, www.stangelasns.ie, she described her visit to us as an ‘emotional, wonderful and really special and memorable occasion’ for her and thanked the girls and staff, past and present, for the Trojan work they do and in particular for the superb welcome she received.
Go n-éirí leat, a Rosena.
Táimid fíor bhródúil asat agus bí cinnte
go mbeadh fáilte romhat i gcónaí.
